Police investigate after clumps of large nails left on Lancaster village street
Police found clumps of large nails left in lay-bys on a village street.
South Lakes Police said on Facebook: “An early 6.30am start today for PCSO Hayley, after reports that a person is leaving clumps of large nails in the pull- ins on Church Street in Beetham village.
"This will cause harm to tyres or worst still a horses hoof.
"Why someone would deliberately do this is a mystery.”
