BIG Brother will meet Fame Academy in a no holds barred situation comedy at Lancaster's Grand Theatre next month where friendships will be made but quickly broken.
The eXtra Factor is a comedy musical which takes an ironic and hilarious look at reality talent shows – the songs, the sex, the heartbreak.

This is the ultimate feel-good show where the ultimate winner will be decided by the audience.

Kevin Ken
nedy (the legendary 'Curly Watts' from Coronation Street) and Antony Costa (Blue, I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here) will be pitted against each other and other celebrities including Kelle Bryan (Eternal), Anthony Kavanagh (ITV1's 'Grease is the Word'); pop group Jennifer Biddall ('Hollyoaks') and Suzanne Carley ('Blood Brothers' and 'Grease') feature.

In the meantime, Russ Spencer (pop group Scooch and West End's 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang') is the self-styled pop manager who hosts the competition on stage.

The performers are trying to win the votes of the viewing audience who act like a live studio audience in the theatre.

This explosive combination has already seen microphones at dawn during the rehearsals.

As well as the poignant and hilarious comedy, the show will feature some of the biggest hits from the last three decades, including Robbie Williams' 'Angels', George Michael's 'Freedom', Gloria Gaynor's 'I Will Survive', Europe's 'The Final Countdown' and many more.

From the house to the studio and back, this fast-paced production keeps you laughing and guessing until the last moments.

The eXtra Factor takes place at The Grand Theatre in Lancaster from Monday, September 8 until Wednesday, September 10, at 7.30pm for 8pm. Tickets are priced at £17/£16. To book call the Grand Theatre on 01524 64695.
