AN exhibition celebrating one of the seaside's most distinctive symbols will be on show at The Midland Hotel, Morecambe from this weekend.
'Bathing Beauties' is a range of designs imagining the future of the humble beach hut.

It premiered last year at the National Centre for Craft and Design, will grace Montreal, Canada in 2009, and in the meantime will stop off at The Midland.

The exhibition is described as "a terrific example of how to develop our seaside towns into exciting new places - using the traditional British vernacular of beach huts, and turning them into modern contemporary landmarks".
