Well, now you have the opportunity to design your very own superhero and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes for yourself and your school!
All you have to do is use your imaginat-ion and design, on a vertical piece of A4 paper, your i
dea of a fantastic superhero.
You can make your superhero look however you want. He or she could have wings, 10 eyes, extending legs – absolutely anything you want.
We also want you to name your superhero and give him or her a special superpower.
Just imagine, your superhero could have x-ray vision or the ability to time travel, or could have the power to turn into something else. It could even be an environmentally-friendly superhero!
The competition is open to nursery and primary schoolchildren from age three to 11 years. The winning child will receive a year's adult-and-child pass for Vue cinema in Lancaster and the winning child's school a laptop courtesy of Smart fix it local IT repair specialists and sports equipment from The Co-operative Insurance.
The top 200 entries will be featured in The Visitor on Wednesday, October 22, and the closing date for entries is Friday, October 10, at noon. So what are you waiting for... happy designing!
