RESIDENTS are being invited to quiz local organisations' leaders at a series of forums over the next few weeks.
Geraldine Smith MP for Morecambe and Lunesdale is inviting constituents to a series of "Any Questions" sessions that will take place at various venues throughout the constituency during September and early October.

The panels for the forums will
be made up of senior representatives from the Police, National Health Service, Lancashire County Council, Lancaster City Council and will be chaired by the MP.

If constituents are unable to attend the meetings they can still put their questions in writing to the MP who will ensure that they get a written response. Topics discussed at the forums will be a mixture of questions taken from the floor and written questions from constituents.

Geraldine thanked the various officials for their willingness to attend these meetings.

She said: "I believe the forums offer local people a unique opportunity to "put on the spot" the executives responsible for the effective delivery of our public services and I hope constituents take advantage of the opportunity and make them a success."

The MP is writing to all households in her constituency with details of the forums.

I would like to know why Geraldine joined the Labour party when the Government Whips website shows she has voted against almost every policy the goverment has tried to employ?
