MORECAMBE Cricket Club must try again after the Furness Building Society Cup final with Preston on Sunday was abandoned.
Morecambe were 38-2 in the 12th over when the rain came. This Sunday's rematch will start at 1pm.

Morecambe are still in contention for a Northern League and Cup double, trailing leaders Nether-field by five points with two games to go.

Netherfield have 193 points, Blackpool 190, Morecambe 188 and Kendal 187 in one of the tightest races in recent years.

Morecambe go to struggling Darwen on Saturday before possibly a crunch home clash with Netherfield the following week.

The remaining fixtures are: Netherfield – Preston (h), Morecambe (a); Blackpool – Barrow (h), Chorley (h); Morecambe – Darwen (a), Netherfield (h); Kendal – Chorley (a), Preston (h).
