MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28
- Commercial building fire in Preston
Four fire engines from Preston, Fulwood, and Penwortham attended a commercial building fire in Inglewhite Road at around 9.15am.

Hide AdThe incident involved a tumble dryer inside a commercial property.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and one positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported.
Crews were in attendance for approximately 25 minutes.
- Firefighters rescue cat stuck up '30ft tree' in Blackburn
One fire engine from Blackburn attended an animal rescue in Parsonage Road at around 12.45pm.
The incident involved a cat that was stuck up a 30ft tree.
Firefighters used a triple extension ladder and worked with the RSPCA to rescue the animal.
They were in attendance for approximately 15 minutes.
- Firefighters tackle chemical fire in Preston

Hide AdFour fire engines from Preston, Fulwood, and Penwortham attended a commercial building fire in Chain Caul Way at around 4.05pm.
The incident involved chemicals that were well alight when crews arrived.
Firefighters used one hose reel, one jet, and approximately 20 litres of foam to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported.
Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and 15 minutes.
- Road traffic collision in Up Holland

Hide AdTwo fire engines from Skelmersdale and Wigan attended a road traffic collision in School Lane at around 9.25pm.
The incident involved two vehicles.
Firefighters used a hearth kit and worked to make the scene safe.
Six casualties were assessed by paramedics.
Crews remained in attendance for 50 minutes.
- Derelict building fire in Preston
Four fire engines from Fulwood, Bamber Bridge, Penwortham, and Preston, together with an aerial ladder platform and support vehicle from Preston, attended a derelict building fire in Lytham Road at around 11.50pm.
Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported.
Crews remained in attendance for three hours.
TUESDAY, MARCH 1
- Commercial building fire in Blackpool
